Tabu on playing Meera Deshmukh, says “It is one of the most difficult characters”

Mumbai| After keeping the nation hooked with its murder mystery in 2015 with Drishyam, the makers will soon be back with the thrilling sequel. The trailer was unveiled by the makers at a grand launch event in Goa amidst the presence of the cast and makers in the film.
At the trailer launch event, actress Tabu spoke about the adulation her character has received. She said, “I don’t think this character is loved by everyone, people hate her as well. I would like to thank Nishikant Kamat for making the experience of the first one easy. I miss Akshaye being here today. He effortlessly takes off the film from where I left. But of course, it’s Ajay Devgn’s as Vijay Salgaonkar’s struggle that is the highlight of the film.”
Talking about the complexities of emotions her character exudes, the actress quipped, “It is one of the most difficult characters I have played. These are very complex emotions. Every emotion our characters feel is a part of human nature. I give credit to writers for effortlessly etching them out.”
For the unversed, Drishyam 2 is all set to hit the theatres on November 18.
