Taapsee Pannu on spat with paparazzi “Why should I be at the receiving end of this tone, as if I have committed a crime?”

Taapsee Pannu is the centre of attention as she prepares for the premiere of her film Dobaaraa. The actress is on a promotional tear and has left no stone unturned in order to promote her flick. In a recent interview, the actress said that she had a public altercation with a photographer while on her way to a promotional event for her upcoming film. The actress discussed the feud in a recent interview with a leading portal.

Photographers were irritated with Taapsee Pannu because she arrived late to the event and did not stop to pose for them. According to Taapsee, the photographer treated her cruelly, which enraged her, and she explained that she was merely following the organisers’ instructions. Taapsee revealed in the interview that the photographer was so nasty to her that she thought he was doing her a favour by photographing her. The Dobaaraa actress went on to say, “Even my parents don’t scold me in that tone. I don’t even know how to describe it to you. I was given a schedule to follow. I was doing that. Why should I be at the receiving end of this tone, as if I have committed a crime?!” the actor said.

Dobaaraa will be released worldwide on August 19. The film is a new-age thriller, and it represents Taapsee and Anurag’s third reunion following the 2018 smash Manmarziyaan and the biographical drama Saand Ki Aankh (2019), on which he acted as producer. Taapsee and her Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati are reunited in the film.

Meanwhile, Taapsee will be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, which will be released in the coming months. Shah Rukh Khan will also play the lead. Several images from the sets of Dunki in London have gone popular on social media.
