The second season of Indian Matchmaking was recently launched, and fans have already binge-watched it. The plot centres around an Indian matchmaker who attempts to arrange marriages for people in India and the United States. As predicted, netizens flooded social media with amusing memes. Netizens can’t get enough of Sima Taparia and the advise she delivers on the show. In fact, Sima Aunty, as she is affectionately called, made news after commenting on Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s age disparity. In a recent interview, she revealed her favourite Bollywood pairings.
Sima Taparia of Indian Matchmaking was asked who she believes would make an ideal Bollywood pair in an interview with a channel. The matchmaker spoke up and replied, “call me old but I think Hema Malini and Dharmendra are perfect and amongst the youngster, it’s Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli.”
For those who are unaware, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli married in 2017. Since then, the two have frequently set couple goals with their social media photographs and videos. The two are six months apart in age, with Anushka being six months older. They are now the joyful parents of a newborn girl named Vamika.
The show follows Taparia, who lives in Mumbai, on her mission to assist Indian singles discover suitable life mates using her “decades of experiences, insights and traditional methods”.
