Alia Bhatt: Ranbir doesn’t massage my feet, But he does many things to make me feel special

Mumbai: Alia Bhatt, who just announced her pregnancy, stated that her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor does not massage her feet but goes out of his way to make her feel special. Ranbir and Alia married earlier this year, after which she revealed her pregnancy.

Ranbir and Alia revealed their pregnancy with an Instagram post in June, after marrying in a secret ceremony in April. She posted a photo of an ultrasound machine with the actors staring at the screen with their backs to the camera.

Alia informed a top portal that Ranbir Kapoor is taking care of her now that she is pregnant.
“He has always takes good care of me. Now, he is even more careful. If you want to ask whether he massages my feet, he does not. But he does many things to make me feel special. Now, he does more of that.”

Alia was also questioned if her mother, Soni Razdan, and mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, are paying special attention to her, to which she replied that she has been working continually and has had the opportunity to be with them, for them to take care of her. “I recently returned from a three-month shooting schedule in London and I missed dal-chawal a lot. So I found someone who could make dal-chawal and poha for me. I love poha for breakfast. I even learned how to make an omelet there.”

Alia is awaiting the release of her own film, Darlings, in which she co-stars with Shefali Shah. Ranbir was last featured in Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera, which was severely panned and had a poor box office result.

Alia also stated that she will likely take a sabbatical following the release of her next film, Brahmastra because she has signed a couple of films that will not begin production until next year. Brahmastra is Alia’s first collaboration with Ranbir. Directed by Ayan Mukerjee, the film is the first in his fantasy trilogy that is touted as Indian mythology meets sci-fi.
