Review:

The story of the film begins by establishing the character of Saroj, a daring young woman. Saroj is a character who adores herself and is a ‘Gunda’ in her society. This girl will not tolerate any inappropriate behaviour and will beat anyone who does.

The film addresses a major issue while also promoting body positivity in a lighthearted manner. The film has more punchlines than punches, which makes it a delight. The best scene is when Saroj talks about how she is unable to lose weight in two months. In this scene, the writer has very beautifully used dialogue i.e “Itne time me to filmstars Ke Bache patle hokar launch hojate hai,” which is so hilarious that you will want to jump out of your seat.

Saroj, played by Sanah Kapur, is a very strong character, and Sanah has done an excellent job. Her acting never felt forced; it was a real treat to watch Sanah as Saroj.

In terms of the film’s other characters Kumud Mishra, who portrays Saroj’s father, is unbeatable. It is no secret that Kumud Mishra is the master of his craft, with the fewest number of dialogues and innumerable expressions. Kumud Mishra makes the father’s character the film’s backbone.

Talking about Gaurav Pandey urf Shantanu the lover boy, he killed the role beautifully with his expressions. It is not incorrect to say that his eyes speak. Apart from that, all of the other characters in supporting roles have given their all, which can be seen in the film.

When it comes to movie soundtracks, the songs are soothing and beautifully placed in the appropriate situation. They make you feel the character’s pain and grief. The soundtrack of the film connects you with the characters and will stay with you for a long time.

Conclusion:
This film addressed a critical issue in the most delightful way possible. Portraying a simple issue with this much creativity is something to be applauded for. This is unquestionably a must-watch.
