Deepika Padukone is off to Cannes to complete her panel duties

Mumbai, Deepika Padukone, who made news recently as the lone Indian on the jury of the 75th Cannes Film Festival, left Mumbai last night for the French Riviera.

Deepika Padukone, the world-renowned actor, producer, and humanitarian, looked absolutely lovely as she headed off to Cannes to begin her jury responsibilities.

Bollywood Actress, who will represent India at one of the world’s most famous film festivals and one of the world’s most highly covered cultural events, has a hectic two weeks ahead of her from May 16 to 28. She’ll be there for the duration of the festival.

Diva is one of eight members of the jury at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, which is presided over by French actor Vincent Lindon. She is joined by Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, actress Rebecca Hall, screenwriter producer Rebecca Hall, Italian actress Jasmine Trinca, French director Ladj Ly, American director Jeff Nichols, and Norwegian director Joachim Trier as they discuss the best global films that look to push the creative envelope, enhance the development of cinema, and promote the development of the global film industry.
