We used to count the number of friendship bands we had as a kid to see how many friends we got, but as time went on, we realise those were merely threads.

Throughout our life, we meet some truly fantastic people along the way, but only a handful become our friends.

On this occasion of Friendship day we bring you some of very special friendships of B-town.

Abhishek would have never guessed that the boy he was following in Dhoom would one day become his best friend. John and Abhishek’s friendship began in Dhoom. They rocked again in Dostana.

Sonam Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez

Sonam Kapoor is one of the most fashionable and well-dressed women in the industry. And having a companion who shares her design sense is all Sonam could have hoped for, and she got it in the form of Jacqueline. They’ve even admitted to frequently borrowing fashion advice from one another. Jacqueline has even mentioned that Sonam is her buddy at 3 a.m.

3. Ranbir Kapoor & Ayan Mukherjee

Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherjee began a bond that would lead to them being best friends. The actor-director team has two major successes to their name, and the good news is that a third one is in the works. Ranbir admitted that he seeks personal guidance from Ayan.

Ajay Devgan & Rohit Shetty

True friendship is blind to fame or celebrity. This is easily applicable to the pairing of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgan. They were pals when no one knew who Rohit was. Rohit made his directorial debut with Zameen, starring Ajay Devgan, and the rest is history.
