Salman Khan on the North vs South debate: We all try and do the best thing as there’s no 100% formula to things working

Kiccha Sudeep’s pan-Indian film Vikrant Rona is gearing up for its grand release on July 28. The flick also stars Jacqueline Fernandez in the pivotal role. Ahead of that, the makers have decided to host big pre-release events in Mumbai.
The pre-release event held in Mumbai was graced by the presence of Salman Khan. He also grooved with Jacqueline and Kiccha Sudeep on the song Rakkamma.

The actors interacted with the media on various subjects, and the much debated North v/s South films conversation also made it to the event.

Elucidating their thoughts on the same, Kiccha Sudeep said, “I don’t want to generalize on that, but multiple films are rolling out each year. Some fare at the box office, while some tank. That does not mean it’s dominating. There are good times for everything. If the Hindi film industry has not been doing great things and does not have good actors, how would it sustain for so many years.”

Kiccha Sudeep went on to give an example of Virat Kohli and how he has not been in form but one cannot deny his records.

He further said, “There are films that are not working there(South) as well. Even in Hollywood, only a handful of films are released here and are liked by people. Every industry stands by its potential.”

Adding to this, Salman Khan told the media, “We all try and do the best thing, we all say that this is the best film we’ve made, we wanted to reach everyone, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, work, so there’s no formula to this that this will work 100%.”
