Renowned author Taslima Nasrin condemns Sushmita Sen for her relationship with Lalit Modi, saying ‘those who fall in love with money, I lose respect very quickly”

All eyes have been on Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi, ever since the former IPL chairman announced their relationship on social media. While a section is happy and congratulating them, some people are just not ceasing to troll them.

Amid this, writer and activist Taslima Nasrin’s post reacting to Sushmita’s relationship with Modi has now caught netizens’ attention. In a Facebook post, the author slammed Sushmita and questioned her for dating a person who’s allegedly ‘involved in various crimes.’

The post in Bengali read, “I met Sushmita Sen once at the Kolkata airport. She hugged me and said I love you. There is no one taller than me in the area, so standing next to her I suddenly felt short. I could not take my eyes off fascinated by her beauty. I liked Sushmita Sen’s personality the most. Adopted two daughters at a young age. Liked her honesty, bravery, awareness, self-reliance, determination, uprightness.”

Coming to the beauty queen’s relationship, Nasrin added, “But Sushmita is now spending time with a very unattractive person involved in various crimes. Because the man is very rich? So was she sold to money? Maybe she is in love with the man. But does not want to believe that she is in love. Those who fall in love with money, I lose respect very quickly.”

On the work front, Sushmita was last seen in Aarya season 2 and is all set to come up with the third season.
