OVID-19 appears to be back with a firmer grip this time. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, a fellow actress, tested positive for the virus after Shruti Haasan. She posted a video on Twitter with the caption “Covid Positive…inspite of all precautions..actors plz start insisting on masking up the entire crew bcos we as actors cant wear masks.. Those who have met me or been in contact with me plz watch out for symptoms and get checked…Plz be careful and mask up..covid is still here.”
In the meantime, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has joined the cast of the multilingual drama Sabari. The film started production in April of this year. When asked about her future project, the actress was reported as responding, “I am overjoyed and delighted to begin this project. I can’t wait to be a part of the shoot. I feel the audience will definitely enjoy this film.”
Sabari, directed by Anil Katz, is a psychological thriller. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will appear in this suspense thriller alongside Ganesh Venkatraman, Sashank Siddhamsetty, and Mime Gopi, among others.
The filmmaker said about this highly awaited picture, Sabari, that it is the narrative of today’s lady, whose characterisation echoes the goals of an individual soul. A strong woman who is prepared to go to war to attain her goals. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who has a bright personality both on and off screen, embodies today’s powerful women.
