Raveena Tandon lends her voice to a film based of girl child safety

Mumbai: Raveena Tandon has always been interested in the humanitarian activity, from PETA to UNICEF. The actress, who appeared in the film ‘Maatr,’ which dealt with crimes against women, has also been outspoken about social concerns and causes.
Raveena Tandon, a national award-winning actress, believes, “Without sensationalizing, Saif firmly puts his point across which will create awareness in our society.”

Yes, Papa by Saif discusses the protection of children in our society, which is a democratic and basic right.”Playwright and theatre director turned filmmaker Saif Hyder wanted to tell this story in a different manner. ”I was certain that conventional storytelling would not do justice, so I created a world that would disturb my audience and they would feel the undercurrent,” Hasan, the filmmaker, states.

Mainstream performers such as Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Sonali Kulkarni, as well as veterans like Zeenat Aman, director Akash Khurana, and directors Abhishek Chaubey and Bharat Dabholkar, have all spoken out in support of Saif’s film. Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, Geetika Tyagi, Tesjaswini Kolhapure, and Nandita Puri play major parts in this film.

On the other hand, it is well known that, in addition to Maatr, Raveena Tandon has been in a number of films that represent the truth of society, such as Daman (on domestic abuse), Satta (on politics), and others. While she maintains that films are a mirror of society, she also argues that, as with any other creative form, the type of film and the type of society matter.
