Karen Johar is all set to don the director’s hat after a hiatus of six years with his much-anticipated venture Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The flick features Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles.
Currently, Karan Johar is busy promoting Liger which he has produced. Helmed by Puri Jagannadh the film features Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda in lead roles. The trailer of the film was unveiled on 20 July and a launch event regarding the same was held in Mumbai, where Ranveer Singh was the Guest of Honour.
With his infectious energy and spunk, Ranveer graced the event while spilling some beans about his upcoming project.
Last month, rumours were rife that Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday have a cameo in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
At the trailer launch event, Ranveer poked fun at Ananya and quipped, “We have done a special item number in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.”
Talking about RRKPK, as of now, the flick releases on 10 February 2023. However, if reports are to be believed, there may be a delay due to Alia’s pregnancy and shoot schedule. Whereas, Liger is all set to release in theatres worldwide on 25th August in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
