Ranbir Kapoor: when Alia and I had started dating, we couldn’t even tell Ayan that we’d started seeing each other, fearing that he would freak out

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the industry’s most admired couples. After being in a relationship for 5 years, the pair married on April 14, 2022, in their Vastu mansion in Bandra, Mumbai. The couple is presently awaiting the premiere of their highly anticipated film, Brahmastra, directed by their closest buddy Ayan Mukerji. Everyone is aware that Ranbir and Alia have a tight relationship with Ayan, which they have frequently discussed in public.

Ranbir and Alia recently disclosed to the public that, despite their closeness, they had to hide their relationship with Ayan at first.

“Alia, Ayan, and I have spent so much time making Brahmastra that so much has changed in our lives over the years. In these years, whenever we met, Ayan would always be obsessing over Brahmastra. After every conversation, Ayan would always be directing our attention toward Brahmastra. At one point, when Alia and I had started dating, we couldn’t even tell Ayan that we’d started seeing each other, fearing that he would freak out.” Further, reacting to this revelation, Ayan said, “I had a very mature reaction when Ranbir broke the news to me. I had to be at my best behaviour with my close friends.”

Alia, Ranbir, and Ayan recently stepped out in style for the preview of the Brahmastra song Deva Deva. Meanwhile, the release date for the couple’s Brahmastra is set for September 9, 2022. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy all play important parts in the film. In addition to Brahmastra, Alia will appear in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara. She also has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Heart Of Stone, a Hollywood film. Ranbir, on the other hand, will star alongside Shraddha Kapoor in Animal, Shamshera, and Luv Ranjan’s untitled project.
