No one can give any advice to anybody: Ajay Devgn

Panaji| The 53rd edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI), kicked off in Goa on Sunday with pomp and fervor. The event was attended by Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, and other high-profile dignitaries. Along with them, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Kartik Aaryan, Aparshakti Khurana, and Mrunal Thakur, among others, graced the event.

Whereas The Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement award was presented to celebrate Spanish film director Carlos Saura at the 53rd IFFI. On Sunday, his daughter Anna Saura accepted the award on behalf of the renowned filmmaker.

Carlos Saura expressed his gratitude for receiving the prestigious Award in a video message. He said, “I could not come to the ceremony personally since I am recovering from Bronchitis.”

Furthermore, Ajay Devgn has had a memorable year. He won the National Film Award for Best Actor this year. In total, he has appeared in six Bollywood films, including Rudra, Runway 34, Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, Thank God, and Drishyam 2.

Devgn said at the IFFI opening ceremony, “No one can give any advice to anybody. Follow yourself, and believe in yourself, that is the most important thing.” For those unaware, IFFI is a nine-day film festival that began on November 20 and will end on November 28.
