Mommy-to-be Alia Bhatt “now that I am having a child, I feel like I should get a hold of my finances”

Alia Bhatt is regarded as one of Bollywood’s most talented actresses. The actress, who began her career at a young age, has given some of the best performances in films such as Dear Zindagi, Gully Boy, Highway, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, 2 States, Kapoor & Sons, Raazi, and many more. Alia made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with the film Student Of The Year, directed by Karan Johar. Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra made their acting debuts with the same film

In an interview with a new portal, the actress revealed that she was paid 15 lakh for her debut film, Student Of The Year. She went on to say that shortly after giving the cheque to her mother, Soni Razdan, she told her, “”I don’t know how much money I have in my bank account. I know it is a good amount but don’t know how much money I have and it’s good I don’t know. My team often keeps telling me that I need to sit down and look at my finances. And now that I am having a child, I feel like I should get a hold of my finances,” Alia said.

Alia claims that her CA, who is also a family friend, gets very stressed out and tells her to spend money and have fun. She stated that she is not a big spender and also does not invest.

“My mother does it and they lets me know where it is invested,” she added. Alia also revealed that she purchased her first car when she was 19 and her first home when she was 22.

Meanwhile, Alia’s upcoming films include Brahmastra, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and Jee Le Zara. Heart Of Stone will also be her Hollywood debut.
