Hrithik Roshan works out despite injury, says ‘I remember waking weak’

Hrithik Roshan never ceases to leave us gushing over his suave looks. The actor is ageing like a fine wine and the secret behind his health is a rigorous fitness routine. Hritik often gives us major fitspiration by sharing workout videos.

The actor is prepping hard for his upcoming film Fighter. Recently, he recalled he did exercise in the gym despite his injuries. Taking to his Instagram handle, Hrithik shared a video wherein he could be seen sharing hearty laughter with his fitness trainer at the gym. Alongside, he explained how that laughter was not part of the agenda that day. “I remember waking weak , it was back n bicep day I think. Both precarious for my injuries. Dreading the number of sets and reps , target obviously set at the highest intensity by Kris. My left bicep tendon injury felt like it’s acting up, I just didn’t want to workout that morning. I felt fear and uncertainty.” he wrote.

He continued, “Decision was left to me. Choice was to take the day off , or to train. This is how I saw it in my head – If I made it thru it will feel good – and set a precedence. If I didn’t make it thru, it will feel good to have tried failed and learnt – and that would set an informed precedence which would keep me injury free in the future as well. Either ways, getting started was a win win . I decided to go for it.The visual tells the rest of the story,”he signed off. Reacting to his post, Tiger commented, “Fackin massive sir” and dropped a fire emoji.

Talking about Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand, it marks Hrithik’s first collaboration with Deepika Padukone. The film is scheduled for January 2024 release.
