First song of late Vikram Gokhale and Revathy starrer love story to release today

Mumbai: The music rights of Vikram Gokhle’s upcoming Hindi feature film Jagjivan Ki Patni Ka Teesra Pyar has been acquired by a leading company. It features the late actor and Revathy in the lead and has been directed by Rajesh Bachchani.

The first song, appropriately titled, “Tu ab Aaya,” releases today. Penned by Bachchani himself, it has been set to music by composer duo Sanjoy Dazz and Ambar Das, with Das lending his voice to it.

Rajesh Menon, CEO, of Panorama Music says, “This film is our tribute to one of our most talented actor, Vikram Gokhle ji, whom we lost recently. The song, which mirrors the bond between the lead pair, will surely strike a chord with the audience who have grown to understand the significance of relationships in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns it triggered. We are excited to bring you the music of Jagjivan Ki Patni Ka Teesra Pyar which is being presented by Panorama Studios International.”

The story centres on Vikram Gokhle’s (Jagjivan) and Revathy’s (Suru) happy existence in the hills after more than 50 years of marriage. The only cloud in the bright sky is cast by Suru’s illness, which flares up from time to time and separates her from her spouse. Jagjivan is now concentrating his energies on making his wife smile once more so that he can join her in doing so.

“Tu Ab Aaya touches on a dementia which is increasingly afflicting people in their advancing years with no cure in sight. I know many will empathize with Jagjivan and Suri’s story and I’m equally confident that the evocative songs, that makes the long wait for love poignantly poetic, will find takers too,” asserts Rajesh Bachchani.
