Amitabh Bachchan gives savage response to trolls calling him ‘Buddhe’

Mumbai: While Abhishek Bachchan is frequently hailed for his savage responses to social media trolls, it appears that his father, superstar Amitabh Bachchan, has also acquired the skill of providing appropriate responses from his son.

The megastar is an avid social media user and frequently shares his ideas with his admirers. On Sunday, Big B shared a post wishing his followers a very Good Morning.

While admirers flooded the comment section of Big B’s post with warm wishes, other social media users mocked the actor for greeting a late good morning. One of the comments said, “Abey Buddhe dopahar ho gaye (Old guy, it’s afternoon).”

However, Amitabh Bachchan fired back at the troller, saying he hoped no one ever called them a “buddha” when they get old. “I pray to God that no one abuses you when you get old,” wrote the actor.

When another social media user joked that Amitabh Bachchan had hoped for sunrise ‘a bit early,’ the actor responded, “Thank you for your taunt. I was working till late hours, shooting got over early morning. Woke up late, so sent wishes right away. I apologise if you are hurt.”

One netizen remarked that Amitabh Bachchan might have consumed local liquor late at night, causing him to wake up late. “I do not drink, make others drink Madhushala,” the actor said in Hindi.

Amitabh Bachchan has claimed that he frequently receives notifications for his social media activities. The actor posted on his blog, “There are strict rules and regulations now by the GOI and the ASCI guidelines, I think that is who they are, who have now given ruling that Influencers – a new terminology for them that put up product pictures with a mention or product pictures, to state that they are the sponsors, promotors etc., or in partnership.. else it is becoming illegal .. so several posts of mine have been given notices that the change should be done … else .. … ya .. !!”
