Alia Bhatt on working on an action film while being pregnant “ I will never forget because of how beautifully and how well I was treated.”

Alia Bhatt has spoken out about working on her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone, while pregnant. Alia revealed in a new interview how she managed to shoot an action film while pregnant. Alia praised the Heart of Stone crew, saying she was treated “beautifully.” Alia also stated that the crew looked after her when she was homesick during her London filming.

Alia will appear in Tom Harper’s next spy thriller, which will be available on OTT. Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan also feature in the movie, which was shot in Europe.

Speaking with a news portal, Alia said, “It was my first Hollywood big English picture experience and I had quite a task at hand because I was shooting for the first time an action movie. But I’m also pregnant so there were so many layers for me to deal with. But they made it so seamless and so easy and so comfortable for me. It’s something that I will never forget because of how beautifully and how well I was treated.”

She also mentioned how delighted she was with the set’s safety procedures. The actress described her experience working on the film as “wonderful.”

Alia announced her pregnancy on social media in June, while in London for the movie’s shooting. The actress shared a selfie of herself on a hospital bed with her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, looking at a monitor. She tied the wedding with Ranbir in April this year.

Aside from Heart of Stone, Alia is working on other projects, including her debut production Darlings. The dark comedy, which also stars Vijay Varma and Shefali Shah, will be available on OTT on August 5.

Alia will then co-star with Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. She will also appear in Ranveer Singh’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, both directed by Karan Johar.
