Karishma Kotak is hosting the Legends cricket league in Oman and it’s the talk of the town. Karishma has hosted many high-profile cricket leagues including the IPL. The legends league has been making the right noises with some incredible cricket there. These kinds of leagues are very important to take the game to the smaller nations and the hosting and carrying of the processes becomes integral. Karishma was much loved when she hosted the IPL and she is continuing just that in the legends league cricket. She is absolutely nailing it down.
We spoke to Karishma and here is what she says of her experience, “The legends cricket league has exceeded all our expectations. The three teams have played some super competitive cricket so far and the crowd reactions are just priceless here. There is so much love for cricket here and all these legendary cricketers have huge fan bases. I am getting a lot of love on social media and the people are showing so much engagement wherever we travel. This is important from a cricketing point of view to take cricket deeper into the nations that are not so accustomed to the lovely game. This is a great start and a great experience for me personally.”
