Bureaucrats on target of political parties after voting in MP

Bhopal: After the voting in Madhya Pradesh, bureaucrats have come under the target of both the major political parties Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress. Officials are being given instructions from both the sides and there is even talk of teaching a lesson if they come to power.

Voting took place on 230 assembly seats in the state on November 17. Sporadic incidents of violence took place at many places during voting. Congress supporter Salman Khan was crushed to death by a vehicle in Rajnagar assembly constituency of Chhatarpur district.

Congress candidate Vikram Singh Nati Raja lodged a complaint at the police station and registered a case of murder and attempt to murder against BJP candidate Arvind Pateria and others. When the arrest was not made, Congress became aggressive and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh reached Rajnagar and staged a protest in front of the police station. Not only this, he also slept there on the cot the whole night.

BJP has also made serious allegations against Congress in this matter. The BJP delegation led by party state president Vishnu Dutt Sharma met the Election Commission and the Director General of Police and submitted a memorandum. He also accused the Congressmen of killing their own workers to gain electoral benefits. BJP accused Chhatarpur SP Amit Sanghi and Rajnagar SHO of registering the case without investigation. Even the suspension of both the officers was demanded.

Similarly, in Rahli of Sagar district also, Congress candidate accused BJP workers of attacking and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh also reached here. The former Chief Minister’s attitude is aggressive and he has even given instructions to the officials.

Another incident also came to light during voting in Gwalior when there was a heated argument between the District Magistrate and Congress candidate Praveen Pathak. State General Secretary of Congress Syed Jafar has even written on X asking for details of those officers who have worked for BJP.

He has written, officers working with BJP badge in their pocket beware…! Kamal Nath ji wrote a letter to all the candidates and instructed them to send the list of officers helping the BJP. Local Congress candidates and leaders have complained about officers working on the instructions of the BJP government, and at some places these complaints appear to be serious. A list of such officers and employees is being prepared who were working like agents of BJP. He further wrote, Kamal Nath said – By the evening of 30th November, the list of such officers who are trying to provide unethical benefits to BJP should be sent.
