Mumbai| Actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who has been named as an accused in the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, appeared in court on September 14.
This is the actor’s third summons from the Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW). Previously, the Delhi police had issued two summonses for questioning on August 29 and September 12.
The Delhi Police will question Jacqueline about her relationship with Sukesh Chandra Shekhar and the gifts she received from him.
According to sources, Jacqueline and Pinky will also be interrogated face to face. According to sources, Delhi police had decided on a long and complex interrogation of Jacqueline. The actor may be questioned again tomorrow (September 15).
In this case, a team of Delhi police questioned Bollywood actress Noora Fatehi for about six hours a few days ago.
Joint Commissioner of EOW Chhaya Sharma and Special Commissioner Ravindra Yadav are among the officers questioning Jacqueline. The team that will question the actor will consist of 5-6 officers.
