FIR filed against Jaura’s Congress candidate Pankaj Upadhyay in Morena

Morena : An FIR has been registered against Congress candidate Pankaj Upadhyay from Jaura Assembly seat for violation of code of conduct and Kovid rules. The FIR has been conducted on October 22, in the election meeting of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, to mobilize the crowd and not make arrangements to save that crowd from Corona. Significantly, the responsibility of giving masks, sanitizers to the crowd who came to the election meeting is the permission of the leader of the assembly, but Congress candidate Pankaj Upadhyay did not distribute masks to any of the crowd of thousands. On this negligence, a Congress candidate has been booked under Section 269 and 270 for endangering the lives of people in the pandemic, under Section 188 of Code of Conduct violation and Section 51 of Apada Management.

Former CM Kamal Nath in Datia, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar in Gwalior, BJP candidates Pradhuman Tomar, Munna Lal Goyal, Congress candidates Satish Sikarwar, Sunil Sharma have also been booked for violating the Kovid Guidelines in the election meetings.
