Congress always exploited tribles and did not take any steps for the upliftment of tribal society: Amit Shah

Amit Shah, National President of Bharatiya Janata Party said that the bravery of Veerangana Rani Durgavati, Amar Shahid Shankar Shah and Raghunath Shah in this holy land of Maa Narmada has contributed a lot for the country’s independence.

Even today, the brothers sisters of tribal society of Mandla district of Dindori are proud to remember their ancestors Rani Durgavati, Kunwar Shankar Shah, Raghunath Shah. Such tradition is very rare in the country and the world. He attacked the Congress and said that for 55 years the Congress ruled on tribals, but Congress exploited them instead of nurturing tribals. Bhartiya Janta Party has raised the welfare of tribals.

Mr. Amit Shah was addressing the Tribal Conference in Dindori on Monday.

He said that presence of such a large number of tribal communities in the small district like Dindori, being present in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s tribe conference, demonstrates that even today, the tribal society is firmly attached to the Bharatiya Janata Party with full devotion. Shri Shah said that the Narendra Modi government of India has left no stone unturned to work for the benefit of tribals.

After being the Prime Minister, Shri Modi said in his speech at Central Hall that this government is a government of deprived, backward, exploited and tribals. He said that for 55 years the Congress ruled on tribals but did not take any major step towards the upliftment of tribal society. For years the tribal community continued to work for the benefit of the Congress but their position could not be improved but in the center when the government of Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji formed the Tribal Ministry for the welfare of the tribals made.

The National President said that when Shri Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of the country, he had added 30 percent more funds for the tribal welfare and also established Mineral Fund for the tribal siblings with the Prime Minister Mineral Development Plan. For the welfare of the tribals, the fund of 18000 crores has been started for tribal youth. At the same time, Prime Minister Shri Modi has done the task of giving 10 crores of rupees to every tribal development block for development. Tribal Eklavya Residential School was established in 184 districts of the country. In which tribal children and girls are taking quality full education. Prime Minister Modi has taken historic steps towards providing a good market for handicraft manufactured by tribal women and children in rural areas.
