Kamal Haasan is now in the United States working on his film, Indian 2. The production team plans to resume filming on his highly awaited drama in September of this year. It is reported that the film’s producers have already begun pre-production. They are still deciding on the film’s cast. According to the latest rumours, Sathyaraj is in discussions to play a pivotal part in the film. The Baahubali star, on the other hand, is yet to sign the dotted line.
If these claims are correct, he would be collaborating with Kamal Haasan again after 35 years. Navarasa Nayagan Karthik will also appear in Indian 2. Meanwhile, it is unknown who would replace the recently deceased actors Vivek and Nedumudi Venu in the film.
Kajal Aggarwal, who has taken a sabbatical from work after the birth of her son Neil, has stated that she will begin filming for the project in September of this year.
Indian 2 is a sequel to the 1996 drama Indian, directed by S Shankar. Senathipathi, played by Kamal Haasan, is set to return.
