Pratik Gandhi lends a helping hand to a blood donation campaign

Mumbai: Pratik Gandhi has been a name that doesn’t need an introduction. The actor has successfully carved a niche for himself with his performance in series like Scam 1992, The Great Indian Murder etc.

The actor does not only believe in entertaining the audience but is also at the forefront to lend support for social causes when needed. Recently, the Modern Love: Mumbai actor is supporting the cause of regular blood donation in Mumbai.

Talking about the importance of blood donation and recalling how his father had to suffer while he was battling cancer, Pratik Gandhi shared, “I have always been inclined to help people to my maximum capacity. When my father was fighting cancer, he was given blood and platelets every second day, and I don’t know who those God‐sent angels were. But what I know for sure, is that we are all given the power to spread smiles by saving lives or even adding a few more days to someone’s life by donating blood and platelets. While modern science has made us deep dive into the universe, we haven’t been able to figure out how to manufacture blood. Blood is best when stored in our bodies.
It’s time we make blood donation a regular act of compassion.”

On the work front, Pratik Gandhi’s lined-up projects include Ananth Narayan Mahadevan’s Phule alongside Patralekhaa, Atithi Bhooto Bhava, and Dedh Bigha Zameen and an untitled film featuring Vidya Balan. He will also be collaborating with Hansal Mehta again for a series capturing the life of Mahatma Gandhi.
