Chennai| It is well known that SS Rajamouli’s next film will starrer Mahesh Babu. Although no details about the film have been released, all eyes are on what the maverick director will bring to the screen alongside the superstar. Now, the director, who is in Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival, has opened up about his next project on stage, sending the internet into a frenzy.
With the phenomenal success of RRR, the master storyteller was invited to participate in the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), one of the world’s largest film festivals. The RRR director stated at the event, “My next film with Mahesh Babu will be a globetrotting action adventure. It’s going to be a kind of James Bond or Indiana Jones film with Indian roots!”
In an interview with a leading portal, Rajamouli’s writer father, KV Vijayendra Prasad, confirmed that he and Mahesh Babu were discussing making an African Jungle Adventure. It will be jam-packed with action, thrills, and drama. Meanwhile, no information on the rest of the film’s cast and crew has been released.
While it was previously reported that the film would begin production by the end of the year, Prasad informs that the film will begin production in 2023 because Mahesh Babu is currently working on Trivikram Srinivas’ film SSMB28, which began filming yesterday.
