Krushna Abhishek mourns Raju Srivastava’s demise, says ‘Too early to go’

Mumbai| Actor-comedian Raju Srivastava who was hospitalized for more than a month due to cardiac arrest passed away on September 21. He breathed his last at Delhi’s AIIMS hospital.

As soon as the news of his demise broke, several members of the entertainment and political fraternity extended their condolences on social media as they mourn Raju Srivastava’s demise.  

However, responding to Absolute India News, here is what Krushna Abhishek said about his demise. The comedian recalled meeting him for the first time and said, “I was 18 years old when I started my career as an Assistant Director on the film Dil Bhi Kya Cheez hai. Raju Srivastava was a comedian in that film. I know him since then. Later we even went on to work in Television together. He was like a family.”

Expressing grief over his death, Krushna quipped, “I am extremely sad. He was a very nice person and it was too early for him to leave. I recently met him when I went to meet the producer of Kapil Sharma’s show in the context of my agreement and he was performing a stand-up act. I was enjoying his performance. Later I got to know about his deteriorating health. My heartfelt condolences to his family.”

To note, Krushna Abhishek was a part of The Kapil Sharma show. However, he will not be a part of this season.
