Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer magnum-opus Brahmastra is inching close to its release. Ahead of the release, a new-release event was held in Hyderabad with Jr NTR as the Chief Guest. Apart from him, SS Rajamouli, Mouni Roy, Naga Chaitanya, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta graced the event with their presence.
At the event, Jr NTR heaped praises on the cast and makers of Brahmastra.
He started by adulating megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s intensity. Talking about the same, he said, “I’ve liked many actors in the Indian film industry, but only a few have left an impression on me as actors. I am a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan’s intensity and have lived it in all of his films. He has really left a lasting impression on me as an actor.”
He even praised Ranbir Kapoor for his intensity and revealed a fil of him which is his favourite. Soeaking about it, Jr NTR quipped, “If there is an actor I really connect with after Amitabh Bachchan, it would be Ranbir Kapoor. Even his intensity appeals to me. I’ve been influenced as an actor by each of his movies. Rockstar is by far my favourite.”
He went on to call his RRR co-star Alia Bhatt as one of the finest actors of our generation. Recalling the conversations they had during RRR’s Shoot, Jr NTR averred, “She is truly adorable and one of the people with whom I have an emotional connection. After our conversations during the RRR shoot, all I can say is that she is a true gem of a person. I am confident that Brahmastra will add another feather to her cap.”
Lastly, expressing the mightiest respect for Karan Johar, the RRR star said, “I have always said, and will continue to say, that Karan Sir and SS Rajamouli have united our film industry as one Indian film industry. I will always respect him for that.
