Mandira Bedi is one of the most popular actresses. She started her career on television and continued to make a name in Bollywood.
She is popularly known for her stint in Ekta Kapoor’s show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’.
Recently, the actress is keeping busy by focusing on her fitness regime. If recent reports are to be believed, Mandira Bedi will soon make her comeback with Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming family drama, tentatively titled ‘Sansaar’. The show is along the lines of the 1994 movie ‘Raja Babu’ starring Karisma Kapoor and Govinda.
Till now there has been no official statement from the makers or the actors but if the sources are to be believed, then Mandira has joined the cast of the show. The source said, “The makers have made Mandira Bedi play a negative lead role in the show. She will portray one of the major characters. The actress will play a business tycoon, who is the mother of the female lead. She will be seen as a possessive mother.”
If the rumours are true, actors like Aruna Irani and Alok Nath will be seen in crucial roles. Pearl V. Puri will play the male lead.
Last year, her husband Raj Kaushal passed away due to a heart attack. After his demise, she was also trolled for posting happy pictures.
