Mumbai| Jasmin Bhasin, who has appeared on television shows, revealed in a recent interview with a news portal that she received death and rape threats after appearing on Bigg Boss.
She stated to a news channel, “Leave alone trolling, people hurled such toxic abuses at me when I left the Bigg Boss house. I received death and rape threats. And for what? Just because I did a show and they didn’t like me in it?”
The actress needed medical attention, and it was her friends and family who helped her get through the difficult period. She continued, “What I faced was very serious. All of that affected me mentally at some point. But I got over it with medical help and my friends and family who love me.”
The actress concluded that she no longer allows trolls to bother her and instead focuses on the praise she receives for her work.
Bigg Boss 12 was significant for Jasmin because it boosted not only her career but also her personal life. She realised her feelings for Aly Goni were much deeper than their friendship. Since then, the two have been in a committed relationship.
