Mumbai: Adivi Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar met the press after the enormous success of Major to share their experience and how they handled the success.

While dealing with the media, Adivi Sesh expressed his delight at the success, mentioning that Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s mother donned the same saree she wore when Major graduated. He also stated that major Sandeep’s mother was overjoyed and hugged Adivi.

When asked how she managed to pull off the part, Saiee stated that she didn’t just want to play it; she also wanted to live it. She had only attempted to offer her hundred percent.

The event’s centrepiece was Adivi’s decision to organise a fund raiser to support students interested in joining the military.

The film is based on Maj. Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s life, who fought terrorists and was killed in action during the 2008 Taj Palace Hotel attacks in Mumbai, India.
