Yash: I always do films where I feel I can watch it with my family

The much-awaited pan-India film KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles is all set to release on April 14, 2022 in theatres. At an event in Mumbai, KGF 2 team launched a new song ‘Falak Tu Garaj Tu’ in Hindi. Moreover, director Prashanth Neel also announced that the advance bookings of the film will start from tomorrow.

During the press conference, Yash spoke about KGF being a mass entertainer and shed light on the action sequences involved in the the film. He said, “If there is an emotional quotient involved with action, one feels like doing it. So it is more like a battle, since purpose is prioritized. This is not just a physical action. It also has a mental action. Like my character, is working hard to fulfil his mother’s dream despite all the obstacles.”

He further added, “When we say action, it is stylized. It is not something where you feel awkward. I always do films that I feel I can watch it with my family. Because the purpose of the film is fulfilled when family audience enjoy it. Despite being entertaining, there should be a strong content. So if you see the thought process in this film, every dialogue will have a thought process where you can relate to any profession.”

Further Yash also praised Sanjay Dutt for his dedication and getting to learn a lot from him. Sanjay Dutt spoke about the story, emotions and his co-stars being the best part of the film.
Raveena Tandon also shared about how elated she was to be a part of the film.
Shedding light on casting of the film, Director Prashant Neel shared that he already had Sanjay Dutt’s name as Adheera in mind while he had begun the scripting.
