Mumbai: Anirban Bhattacharyya, the Producer and Creator of the popular TV show Savdhaan India is also a famous author, with his debut book, The Deadly Dozen: India’s Most Notorious Serial Killers (Penguin), being a best-seller. ‘Mumblings & Musings,’ a collection of his poems and photos, was released this year. Anirban paid a visit to celebrity actor Aamir Khan’s home and presented him with a copy of the poetry book. Aamir was taken with the poetry and quickly recited several of them aloud. “Wonderful! Excellent!” is what Aamir remarked.
“I could not believe it! It was an emotional moment for me to see my hero Aamir Khan read out my own poems to me. I had tears in my eyes. For a debutante poet this is a dream come true to see a legend like Aamir love your book and endorse it,” author Anirban Bhattacharyya recalled. “He is a perfectionist and a magician with his detailed performances. And so when he says that the poems were excellent – it made my day! Not every day does an author get to spend time with a superstar like him.”
The author spent around twenty minutes with the actor discussing his novels as well as the thrill of watching Aamir’s new film Lal Singh Chaddha, the official remake of the Hollywood picture Forrest Gump, which will be released on August 11th 2022.
