Mumbai: Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma recently sparked relationship rumours after being photographed together partying on New Year’s Eve. It was claimed on Tuesday that the two stars had gone on a lunch date after being photographed arriving at the same location in Mumbai’s Bandra. Many paparazzi accounts shared their photos on social media networks.

However, as these rumours began to circulate, Vijay took to Twitter to announce his true “lunch date”. Sujoy Ghosh, the filmmaker, and the actor snapped a mirror selfie. Tamannaah and Vijay are reportedly poised to share screen time in Lust Stories 2.
Vijay’s sarcastic retort to rumours of him having lunch with Tamannaah had netizens in stitches. Some of his fans even tried shipping for the pair. One Twitter user wrote, “jhoot mat bol bhai (don’t lie, brother!).”
Vijay and Tamannaah were seen attending an awards show in the city earlier this week. Tamannaah was seen posing with her award in the Instagram footage, as Vijay passed behind her. They also posed for the photographers who were documenting the occasion one after the other.
Speculations regarding Tamannaah and Vijay’s blossoming romance gathered traction after a video supposedly depicting the couple from their New Year’s Eve celebrations went viral. After celebrating the New Year together, the two were seen leaving the Mumbai airport around the same time. They did not, however, pose for photos together and returned home in separate automobiles.
