Vijay Sethupathi to play the antagonist in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan?

Shahrukh’s fans are overjoyed right now since the star is ready to return to the big screen after a four-year absence. Pathaan, Dunki, and Jawan are his forthcoming 2023 films.

Talking about his much-anticipated film Jawan, it is grabbing attention after its trailer was out. Helmed by South filmmaker Atlee, the flick also features Nayanthara in a pivotal role.

If reports are to be believed, Vijay Sethupathi will be a part of Jawan. Reportedly, the actor will be the antagonist in the film. The makers initially approached the Baahubali star Rana Daggubati for the villain role, but due to his busy schedule, he couldn’t be a part of the film, and thus, the makers have now offered the film to Vijay Sethupathi.

To note, Vijay Sethupathi is also rumoured to be in talks with director Sukumar of Pushpa, for a powerful role in the film’s upcoming sequel Pushpa: The Rule.

Recently, Vijay’s power-packed performance in Vikram was the talk of the town. The film also starred Fahadh Faasil and Kamal Haasan.

Talking about Jawan, the movie is slated for a worldwide release on June 2, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
