Vicky Kaushal has been on a roll of late. After winning hearts with his stupendous performance in Sardar Uddham last year, the actor is all set to step into another power-packed role yet again.
He will essay the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in one of his most talked-about projects Sam Bahadur.
The actor has started preparation for the same. He took to his social media handle and shared picture of script of the film and captioned, “Here we go Prep starts!!! #SAMBAHADUR . @meghnagulzar @rsvpmovies (sic)”.
Talking about the film, it is based on Sam Manekshaw, also known as Manekshaw, Mackintosh, Manekji, who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and the first officer who was given the rank of Field Marshal.
Helmed by the very talented filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, it also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles. The film marks the second collaboration between Vicky Kaushal and Meghna Gulzar after Raazi.
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal has already
wrapped Laxman Utekar’s next untitled movie
with Sara Ali Khan. He also has ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ co-starring Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar.
