Thank you mummy (Sushmita) for shaping me into the woman I am today: Renee Sen

Mumbai| Renee Sen, Sushmita Sen’s daughter, wrote a sweet note on Sunday thanking her mother for moulding her into the woman she is today. Renee celebrated her 23rd birthday by posting an adorable photo with Sushmita to her Instagram account. As they smiled for the camera, the mother-daughter duo looked stunning. Renee had her arms around Sushmita like a protective mother. She was also seen hugging and sitting on the Sirf Tum actor’s lap. The star kid was dressed in silver, while Sushmita was dressed in black.

While sharing the picture she wrote, “Thank you for all the avalanche of love and blessings on my birthday… It means the world to me… to be loved unconditionally is God’s greatest blessing. Thank you, Maa for shaping me into the woman I am today… I love you the mostest!! With love and immense gratitude. The Birthday Girl. PS: 23 feels AMAZING. To everyone whom I spent my birthday eve with, thank you… I have the BESTEST extended family.”

Renee’s lovely social media post prompted several celebrities and fans to leave comments. But it was Sushmita’s response that stole the show. She penned, “I love you my beautiful 23!!! Happy birthday Shona (darling)!” While, actor Dia Mirza also wished Renee and wrote, “Happy Birthday my baby. Feel so proud watching you become the kind, wonderful and good human you are.”

Sushmita has two daughters as a single mother. Sushmita adopted,  Renee, her first daughter, when she was 24 years old. She later adopted her daughter Alisha in 2010. Renee made her acting debut in 2021 with the short film Suttabaazi. The plot revolved around Diya, a 19-year-old girl (Renee).

Meanwhile, Sushmita was most recently seen in Aarya 2, the sequel to her hit web series that marked her official return to the entertainment industry alongside her digital debut.
