“I am really wanting to be a part of it, and I really hope that next one, I am a part of it. I had a conversation with Rohit and Ajay sir, and I hope to be a part of the coming Golmaal films.”
Later in the talk, Sharman discussed OTT and whether or not it is taking over cinemas. According to the actor, things are currently in favour of OTT platforms. He articulated, “We all understand that people are not going, including people such as you and me possibly. They wait for the movies to come on OTT so that they can watch them in their own comfort and at a suitable time. I believe life comes full circle, and cinema is going to come back. Eventually, OTT platforms also have to have good content; if cinema will also provide that range of content, then there will be healthy competition.”
Sharman was recently seen in Music School. The movie was released on 12 May and garnered good reviews.
