Sanah Kapur on her upcoming release: I really like watching feel-good cinema and this is also a feel-good film

She is chirpy, effervescent, humorous, and an extrovert, and she is not afraid to call a spade a spade. Saroj, the character in the forthcoming film ‘Saroj Ka Rishta,’ has a body weight of 120 Kg, but no one ever reminds her of her appearance and looks, and even she is ignorant of how she appears. She proudly roams throughout the city of Ghaziabad, where she resides, and believes in living life to the fullest.

On Friday, the quirky and amusing teaser for ‘Saroj Ka Rishta’ was released. The teaser depicts Saroj’s carefree attitude toward life, in which she is unconcerned with her weight and believes in living life to the fullest.
The film’s teaser is receiving tremendous feedback from all corners, which has been overwhelming for the actors and crew.

The film stars Randeep Rai, Gaurav Pandey, and Kumud Mishra as Saroj alias Sanah Kapur’s father. Interestingly, Sanah Kapur made her film debut in ‘Shaandar,’ with her real brother Shahid Kapur and her real father Pankaj Kapur. Kumud Mishra and Sanah Kapur enjoy a lovely relationship as father and daughter in ‘Saroj Ka Rishta.’

“I really like watching feel-good cinema and this is also a feel-good film. My favourite Bollywood genre is a romantic comedy and I loved doing ‘Saroj Ki Rishta’ which is also a romantic comedy film. As you all have loved the teaser, I am sure you people are also going to love this film.”

The director of the film Abhishek Saxena said, “The mindset about overweight people needs to be changed. They all are normal people just like us but in our film, we are not trying to be preachy about the issue and focus more on the relationship of father and daughter duo”.
