Sanah Kapoor about her role in her upcoming “ Somewhere in my real life, I am too like Saroj”

The trailer for the soon-to-be-released film ‘Saroj Ka Rishta,’ billed as the ‘wazandar’ comedy film, was released today. Not only was the film’s cast present for the trailer’s release, but many other film and television personalities also graced the occasion. During the launch event, in addition to the trailer, a few songs from the film were also shown to the media.

Interestingly, Sanah Kapur made her debut with ‘Shaandar,’ and she is now playing Saroj in her upcoming film ‘Saroj Ka Rishta.’ It is demonstrated in the film that she is indifferent about her weight and prefers to live her life as she sees fit.

Kumud Mishra, a well-known and prolific actor, plays the pivotal role of Saroj’s father in the film. The father-daughter relationship is the film’s highlight. Interestingly, he loves her daughter Saroj so much that he finds a groom who will readily agree to stay in their home, rather than Saroj leaving her home after marriage!

Sanah expressed her delight at being given the opportunity to play the lead role in a unique way. She stated, “Without giving any importance of her bring overweight, her character Saroj lives and enjoys her life to the fullest. Somewhere in my real life, I am too like Saroj. In the film, the relationship shown between the father and the daughter has been beautifully presented and I am sure that audiences are going to love it”.

Sanah’s real-life mother Supriya Pathak will be seen doing a special cameo in the film. Talking about the film she said, “The best thing about the film is that it tells us not to be pretentious in our behaviour and live life as we are. That’s the biggest message and the beauty of the film.” Refusing to talk about her daughter Sanah’s character in the film she said, “I want all of you to watch the film and see yourself how good the film and her role is.”

The film is presented by Miicall and directed by Abhishek Saxena. During the release of the trailer for ‘Saroj Ka Rishta,’ he stated, “Our society needs to change their attitude towards people with weight issues because they are also normal people who behave normally like all of us. This is the message we are trying to convey to our audiences through this film”.
