Comedian Raju Srivastav regained consciousness after being admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) last month following a heart attack. The actor had a heart attack while working out and was rushed to the hospital. According to reports, the Maine Pyar Kiya actor was placed on a ventilator again earlier this week after developing a mild fever. As per reports, Raju is said to have improved even more recently.
The chief advisor Ajit Saxena told a news portal, “Raju bhaiya ke haath pair hilane lage hain. Woh aankh kholkar apni patnee Shikha Srivastava ko dekhte hain. Unake haath ko chhoote hain aur yeh bataane ki koshish karate hain ki woh jald hi theek ho jaenge,” he was quoted as saying by a leading news portal. (Loose translation: Raju Bhaiya’s hands and feet have begun to move. He blinks open his eyes and turns to face his wife, Shikha Srivastava. He tries to comfort her by touching her hand and telling her that he will be fine soon.)
Raju’s friend had previously posted on social media that the comedian had become infected. However, his family has yet to issue an official statement.
