Mumbai: The film stars R Madhavan. The Nambi Effect has made audiences throughout the world gasp. The visual treat has gone global and is eligible for the Oscars in 2023, multiplying its sky-high pace. Nambi Narayanan, a former Indian Space Scientist and aeronautical engineer famed for designing liquid fuel engines, becomes caught in an espionage controversy in the novel. Rocketry was declared the ‘Most Popular Indian Movie of 2022’ by the Internet Movie Database in 2022. (IMDb).
R Madhavan being expressive about the film being in the Oscars First List says, “This film continues to give. The journey gets more rewarding and we are all in a daze. Firstly the love of the people around the world. Nambi sir getting the recognition he so richly deserved and NOW this, what more can I ask for from my directorial debut. The excitement begins again.”
Only four Indian films made it to the first list. Rocketry also had its world premiere on May 19, 2022, at the Cannes Film Festival. To note, R Madhavan makes his directorial debut with the flick.
