Mumbai: The trailer of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha was released a few days back.
However, while a section of netizens are loving the trailer, some social media users have urged to boycott the film. Owing to which, #boycottLaalSinghChaddha is trending on social media.
Social media users have dug out old controversies of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan which include remarks on nepotism, patriotism, remaking and whatnot.
Reasons like Aamir’s ‘India is intolerant’ statement, Forest Grump Remake, and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s remark on nepotism debate stating that no one forces people to watch their movies, are cited as netizens express their resentment towards the film.

For the uninitiated, Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of critically acclaimed Hollywood film Forest Grump. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the flick marks third collaboration of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Also starring Naga Chaitanya in pivotal role, the film is slated to release on 11 August 2022.
