Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan tested positive for Covid-19, reports. Shah Rukh Khan is the most recent actor to test positive in recent days. Akshay Kumar tested positive for Covid last month, while reports of Kartik Aaryan and Aditya Roy Kapur testing positive for Covid-19 made headlines on Saturday.
Earlier in the day, it was revealed that Katrina Kaif had also tested positive for Covid but has now recovered. More information regarding Shah Rukh is anticipated. Meanwhile, the BMC has issued an alert to the city following a significant increase in daily new coronavirus infections.
It has also directed that gatherings in film studios in Mumbai’s posh K-West district be avoided. BMC has also allegedly ordered the studios to notify if any parties are hosted so that if any individual attending the party is proven to be Covid positive, all others may be tracked down.
King Khan has recently been in the spotlight for making back-to-back film announcements. He announced his return flick Pathaan earlier this year, which would be released in January 2023. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham both feature in the major roles.
Later that summer, he revealed Dunki, which will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Taapsee Pannu co-stars in the film, while Vicky Kaushal is said to be in it as well. The film will be released in December 2023.
