Kapil Sharma “Sir, ye Twitter ki duniyaa se mujhe door rakho” on boycott trend

Mumbai| TKSS celebrity Kapil Sharma recently walked the runway for the Beti Fashion Show, where he interacted with the paparazzi and reacted to the ‘boycott trend’ on Twitter against Bollywood films.

The comedian was asked what he thought about recent film boycotts by online trolls. Kapil responded, “Pata nahi sir, mein itna intellectual aadmi nahi hun. Meri abhi apni film aayi nahi hai. Par ye trend vrend chalte rehte hai. Ye sab waqt ki baat hoti hai. (I do not know, I am not an intellectual person. I do not have a film release for now. But, these trends keep coming. It is just a matter of time).”

Kapil was also questioned about Twitter trolls targeting his favourite Akshay Kumar film. He responded, “Maine to nahi suna unki koi movie boycott hui. Sir, ye Twitter ki duniyaa se mujhe door rakho. Mai badi mushkil se nikla hoon (I have not heard any boycott against his films. Please let me stay away from the world of Twitter, I have come out of it with great difficulty).”

Kapil Sharma is set to return to television with a new season of The Kapil Sharma Show. He recently shared his new look on social media, which was well received by his followers. Another post with Archana Puran Singh had him captioning it as “Always fun shooting with my lucky charm @archanapuransingh ❤️ #tkss #behindthescenes.”

This time, Krushna Abhishek, who played Sapna, will not be returning to the show. According to a source close to the show, “The makers and Krushna tried their best to work things out. One of the major concerns was the fee. Eventually, monetary differences prompted him to leave TKSS. However, we are hoping that the differences get resolved in due course of time and Krushna returns to the show. We are not ruling out the possibility yet.”
