Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut recently took to her social media to take a dig at the celebrities who attend private parties and weddings to perform. Kangana Ranaut explained why she never said ‘yes’ to those lucrative offers.
Recently, she shared a video of Asha Bhosle talking about her late sister, singer Lata Mangeshkar. In the video, Asha shared that Lata would never sing at weddings, no matter how much money she was offered. Kangana shared in the caption that she too, has followed the same mantra.
While sharing the video on her Instagram stories, Kangana Ranaut wrote, “Agreed! Even I never danced in weddings or private parties, even though I have the most popular songs… denied insane amount of money… glad to come across this video… Lata ji truly so inspiring.”
Lata Mangeshkar, regarded as one of India’s greatest vocalists, passed away in February of this year.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut is currently shooting the movie ‘Emergency’, which she directed. The actress will also be making her digital debut as a producer in the film Tiku Weds Sheru starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in the leads. She also has films like Tejas, Manikarnika returns and Chandramukhi sequel.
