Jyothika, a South Indian actress, is preparing to make her Bollywood debut. Yes, the actress confirmed on Sunday that she will appear in Rajkummar Rao’s forthcoming film, Sri. To reveal the good news, she resorted to social media and published a photo with director Tushar and producer Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani. Suriya, being the adoring husband that he is, is also pulling for her new adventure.
Jyothika took to Instagram on January 29 to announce that she has completed filming for her Bollywood comeback flick, Sri. She stated, “Wrapped up my portions for “SRI” with a heavy heart. One of the best crews I have ever worked with. Thank u Tushaar n Nidhi for all the respect and for making me part of this meaningful cinema. Huge fan of yours Raj. It’s an honour for me to share screen space with one of the most brilliant actors in Bollywood… learnt so much from you. What I’m taking back from this team as an actor is…GROWTH.”
Sri is a biopic about the blind industrialist Srikanth Bolla. The film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani. The film also stars Alaya F and Sharad Kelkar.
