Is there a third person behind Ajay Devgn and Kichcha Sudeep’s spat?

Earlier in April, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn and Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep engaged in a Twitter spat over Hindi being a national language. Ever since then, the two are under scrutiny. The controversy began after Sudeep in his tweet said that Hindi is no longer ‘a national language’ owing to the success of South Indian films. To which, Devgn reacted and said that Hindi is ‘our mother tongue and our national language, and it will always be.’

In an interview with a leading daily, Kichcha Sudeep opened up about the incident. He said, “Ajay Devgn is a gentleman. There is nothing there. I am telling you 100%, there is a small misinterpretation there. He tweeted to me but he was very sweet enough to retweet back and say ‘I got my answer Sudeep, thanks for clearing it up.”

He further added that there was another person behind the controversy. “I am very sure the man I know would never tweet in Hindi. It’s a third person’s idea behind it. I do not want to know or conclude on that,” Sudeep added.

On the work front, Kiccha Sudeep stars in Vikrant Rona, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez. The film will release on 28 July in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn too has a slew of interesting films in his kitty that include Drishyam 2, Thank God, Maidaan, and Bholaa.
