Akanksha Puri is an Indian actress and model who has appeared in films across Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema. Recently her friendship with singer Mika Singh has put her in the spotlight. The actress indulged in a conversation with Absolute India News, where she spilled beans about her new show.

Akanksha has recently been seen in her new web series Inspector Avinash with Randeep Hooda. The serial includes many encounters, and the actress comes from a similar familial background.

Talking about the series she said, ” The series is very close to me, personally as I have personally seen my dad struggling. Your work becomes your priority. I have seen things closely that’s why I could relate to the series more.”

Later in the chat, the actress addressed the trolling she receives and whether or not the paparazzi culture concerns her. The actress stated, “I’m not afraid; I feel privileged that people want to know about my life and are interested in me. See, if you chose to be a public figure and are not prepared for it, I would advise you not to become an actor. You must recognise that others are interested in your life, and it is up to you to strike a balance.”

She continued, “If you’re trolling me, I believe you’re also visiting my profile and increasing my engagement. I take it in a very positive way. I feel like if I’m receiving this much love, I should be prepared for trolling as well. I believe my supporters outnumber my haters.”

When asked how much box office and ratings influence her, Akanksha stated, “Frankly, box office doesn’t matter. What is important to me is quality content. It may be important to the creators, but as an audience, nothing matters more than the substance. If it’s good enough, it’ll sell.
